Hotel Club Akumal Caribe

The Double Room in front of the Sea was super comfortable, and the stunning view made our mornings really special. We loved lounging by the beach umbrellas and enjoyed some relaxing time at the pool. It got a bit crowded at times, but it didn’t take away from our fun, definitely check it out! 🌊

Thanks very much for the fun stay, no complains at all. The food is amazing. The services are very good, including a lovely pool. Moreover, there is a parking on site.

Convenient and ideal location, minutes from mexicarteakumal Souvenir Store. Walking distance to various stores and convenience stores across the street.

The ocean views were amazing, and our kids loved swimming with the sea turtles nearby. The staff treated us like friends, and the spacious rooms were perfect for our large family.

My kids wished there were more family-friendly dining options.

The hotel was special with incredible staff and a stunning location on the beach. Location: the venue was close to all the Restaurants on the property and the riviera maya. Easily reached El Habanero Ruinas, located at walking distance from the hotel, had lunch/dinner there. Everything was well-maintained, including great breakfast for what the voucher is worth.

The restaurant was great for lunch and dinner here, I had freshly cooked dishes. Coffee/tea making machines and fridges were available in the kitchen. The location was stunning and unbeatable and the services were terrific! The place was minutes from Akumal downtown.

the room had a strong smell (probably from the beach). the pool area was inviting (perfect for relaxation). the staff was very friendly (always ready to help! ). the location right by the beach was wonderful! !

The beach and staff made for a lovely vacation, with warm greetings and a comfortable room, but breakfast options were disappointing. Although the restaurant had a great location, it struggled with variety, steering us to dine elsewhere. A charming experience with room for improvement.

We loved that the hotel was just a few steps from Akumal Beach and a short stroll to the Akumal Ecological Center, making it easy to enjoy beautiful park views and local wildlife as a couple.

Loved the beach access and beautiful pool! An older hotel with rustic charm, perfect for a laid-back stay. The room was cozy and had a fridge, a bonus!

But, dearie, those thin walls meant I heard my neighbor's karaoke night! Thankfully, the sargassum seaweed kept them quieter than expected!

Consider bringing a small drying rack for your scuba gear, as hanging spaces are limited.

In April 2024, I spent six nights at Club Akumal Caribe in a Double Room in front of the Sea. The beachfront location is fantastic. I loved waking up to the sound of the waves. The room was clean and spacious with a cozy atmosphere. Breakfasts featured fresh pastries and fruits, and the staff always greeted us with smiles. They set up our beach chairs with an umbrella, creating a perfect spot. I appreciate the effort they put into keeping the grounds beautiful with palm trees and flowers. The only downside was the inconsistent wifi connection. It was frustrating sometimes, especially when I needed to check in with family. Despite that, the location can't be beat. I liked being close to restaurants and activities. A lovely stay with friendly service and a great beach. I'd return, but I hope they improve the internet.

100% recommend for short stay

Friendly staff, clean room, and a fantastic location made my stay nice, with daily breakfasts that were delicious and access to the beach just steps away for great snorkeling opportunities.

Nothing it was perfect.
